We are currently partnering with a Local Government, who are recruiting for a Principal Property Solicitor to join their growing team on a temporary basis of 6-months with the opportunity to go permanent.

This is a part-time position (26-hours) with a start date of the 24th of February.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a varied caseload of complex commercial property matters with a particular focus on development, regeneration and property transactions
  • Assisting the team with overflow work on right to buys
  • Advising on trust and charity landwork
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, transfers and leases
  • Advising clients on governance
  • Providing advice to internal and external stakeholders

Experience required:

  • Must be a qualified Solicitor/Barrister/CILEX
  • Experience required in a Local Government Setting

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Experience with IKEN
