Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing supply chain strategies that are efficient, timely, and cost-effective.
  • Overseeing and managing the overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximise efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborating and negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Analysing data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
  • Ensuring the adequate and timely delivery of products to consumers.
  • Managing inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Working within the procurement team to forecast demand and ensure stock levels remain steady.
  • Implementing new operational strategies as the supply chain evolves.

Profile

The successful candidate would have:

  • Experience in a similar Supply Chain role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies.
  • High level of competence in using supply chain management software.
