We have a superb opportunity for a dedicated Site Manager to join a leading, privately owned principal contractor. With an excellent reputation this contractor is able to operate across numerous sectors including commercial new build, fit out, heritage projects, industrial, data centres, education and film studios, offering you the opportunity to work across a multitude of construction sectors and broaden your own skill set and ability.

With an annual turnover of circa 160million this principal contractor is steadily growing and therefore looking to expand and further strengthen the team.

This Site Manager position would be for a circa 15million Industrial project in Surrey.

Requirements for the Site Manager position

  • The right candidate will have proven ability and experience with a principal contractor on a similar size scale project.
  • Industrial construction sector experience is desired. Alternatively, steel frame experience is essential.
  • Be able to manage subcontractors whilst keeping the project running to time and programme.
  • Ensure health & safety compliance regulations are adhered to
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance of the project
  • Overseen the whole build process from start to finish on several construction projects.
  • Lead weekly progress meetings with the Site team whilst reporting into your line manager - Project Manager / Project Director.
  • Degree educated is desired
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
