The role will support a contract in your local detachment area and we are currently looking for candidates in the Surrey/Hampshire/Middlesex areas.
Job description
- Install, maintain, and repair boilers and associated systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure boilers operate safely and efficiently for a number of different properties in your local area.
- Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments to boiler systems.
- Replace defective or worn-out components as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Conduct safety checks and risk assessments on boiler systems.
- Provide technical advice and customer service.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Work with other engineers and contractors during installation projects.
- Ensure new systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
Key requirements
- Full commercial gas qualifications required
- Must have experience in plant rooms & commercial systems
- Strong understanding of boiler systems (gas, oil, biomass, or electric).
- Gas Safe Registration (for gas boiler engineers).
- BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) certification is a plus.
- Full UK Driving Licence
