Our client, a small engineering business in Surrey that offers specialist full turnkey solutions to it's clients mostly in the defence and aerospace sector is seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing large scale electro-mechanical systems using Autodesk Inventor software while ensuring compliance with GDT & BS888 standards.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience working on electro-mechanical products, preferably large-scale process systems
- Autodesk Inventor would be advantageous but other CAD packages considered
- Knowledgeable about Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) Standards & British Standard 8888(BS 888)
- Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product development life-cycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Chartered status would be advantageous but not essential
The role is offering offers a salary of up to 55,000, a competitive benefits package and flexible working.
