Vehicle Despatch Assistant

Position: Vehicle Dispatch Assistant
Location: Surrey (Contract Basis)
Company: Expleo (on behalf of a high-profile automotive manufacturer)

Role Responsibilities:

- Engage with key stakeholders on production output and quality issues to ensure the distribution plan aligns with business needs.
- Collaborate with the network of transport drivers to ensure timely despatch of vehicles according to the distribution plan.
- Maintain and improve best practices for handling vehicles from production receipt to handover
- Provide administrative support to the Vehicle Distribution team, including processing despatch and shipment booking documentation and record retention.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Experience in despatching finished products, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Ability to engage with and influence key stakeholders to meet distribution plan targets.
- Confidence in inspecting and preparing finished products for dispatch.
- Knowledge of logistics/export documentation is beneficial.
- Auditing experience of internal/external processes and networks is a plus.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including MS Office and SAP, is preferable.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
