Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist - Adults Services Location: Waverley, Surrey Rate: Up to £40 per hour (Umbrella) Job Summary: At Eden brown we are seeking a dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Adults Services team in Waverley, Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing occupational therapy interventions for adults with various physical, mental, and social challenges. This role involves working closely with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to support greater independence and enhance quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients functional abilities, occupational needs, and environmental factors. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on assessments and patient-centred goals. Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing abilities in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). Collaborate with health-care professionals, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, and carers, to ensure coordinated care. Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home modifications to promote independence. Monitor and document patients progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Advise on and facilitate the provision of assistive devices and adaptive technology to support patient independence. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and care planning sessions.
