Hunter AHP Resourcing is currently recruiting a skilled and experienced Locum Clinical Pharmacist to join a dedicated pharmacy team at an NHS hospital in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care in a clinical setting, with the flexibility of working three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards, ensuring safe and effective medication management
- Conduct medicines reconciliation, review patient prescriptions, and provide clinical advice to healthcare teams
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise pharmacological treatment and improve patient outcomes
- Provide on-site support for ward-based medication management, including patient discharge counselling and medication reviews
- Contribute to clinical audits, formulary reviews, and education initiatives within the hospital
- Must be a qualified Pharmacist, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Previous experience working in a clinical pharmacy role in NHS wards
- Full-time availability for 3 days per week (Applicants can select their preferred days)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Competitive hourly rate (£29 - £35 per hour depending on experience)
