Position: Prison Pharmacy Technician
Location: Surrey
Schedule: 5 days per week
Hourly Rate: £18 - £23 (paid via umbrella)
Contract: 3-month contract, immediate start available
Hunter AHP is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join a prison healthcare team in Surrey . This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference, delivering essential pharmacy services directly on prison wings and supporting the health and well-being of those in custody. With no clearance required, successful candidates can start almost immediately.
Role Responsibilities- Administer medications and provide vital pharmacy services directly on the prison wings.
- Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure medication is handled safely and stored securely.
- Offer guidance on prescriptions, stock management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with both patients and colleagues on the wings, ensuring clear understanding of treatment plans.
- Flexible Working Pattern: Three days per week, scheduled on a rota to accommodate availability.
- Competitive Hourly Pay: £18 - £23 per hour, through umbrella payment.
- Immediate Start: No prior clearance is needed, allowing for a quick and easy onboarding process.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician: GPhC registration and prior pharmacy experience are essential.
