My client in the Southeast is looking to source an experienced Planning Policy Specialist to join their Town Planning Policy Department.
Â
My client is ideally seeking:
A candidate with 10+ years experience
A Policy specialist with a range of planning policy experience, from evidence base production through to Local Plan examination
Experience of working with Councillors and the public
The ability to oversee and mentor more junior team members, including review of work
A candidate with knowledge of any of the following technical areas: Integrated Impact Assessment, SA / SEA/ HRA, Flooding, Transport, Gypsy and travellers, Environment, Climate    Â
A candidate with the ability to work largely independently
Â
Hybrid working however, willingness to attend office on semi-regular basis - we will be moving into a phase of site visits, face to face meetings / workshops and consultation with the local plan- so 100% remote will not be possible.

The council has good transport links to London, however a driving licence and your own vehicle would be preferable.
