Our client, a successful and expanding company based in the Surrey/London area, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their manufacturing department. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and operational support for daily production operations and troubleshooting.
- Monitor daily performance to ensure processes are controlled and operating safely.
- Conduct analytical assessments to enhance the efficiency and performance of process segments, with a focus on safety, cost reduction, throughput, and expansion.
- Offer technical support and guidance to technicians.
- Translate process improvement concepts into practical and effective manufacturing processes.
- Assist in commissioning and validation of new manufacturing plants.
- Support the introduction of new commercial products in line with company growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of a BSc in Chemical Engineering, BEng, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related manufacturing industries.
- Proven ability to manage short- and long-term projects effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
- Exposure to Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cGMP, ISO9001, and ISO14001 operating standards.
