My client is seeking an individual who can hit the ground running and pick up several already established tenders. You will ensure compliance with regulations and legislation and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. It is key for you to have a strong background in Procuring in the housing category.Key responsibilities:

  • Managing several high-value, high-risk, complex procurement's in the housing category.
  • Ensure business needs and expectations are met or exceeded, whilst maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage multiple high-value, often complex, procurement projects at a time.
  • Provide procurement and commercial advice that aligns with public sector legislation and regulations

Essential Criteria:

  • Public sector procurement experience, namely working in LA's.
  • Housing Procurement experience (e.g. evidence of working on voids, maintenance, Refurbishments, statutory compliance etc).
  • Proven experience of working in line to PCR15 and strong PA23 knowledge.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, specifically internal stakeholder management.
  • Experience of the end-to-end procurement process.
  • Knowledge and experience working in line with relevant laws and regulations in the public sector

Desirable Criteria:

  • Strong analysis and Excel skills.
