Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in ITS (civils) and highways schemes? We are looking for a proactive freelance QS to support a major highways contract in Surrey. Measurement is a priority for this role, so a keen eye for detail and strong cost estimation skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
路Measurement & Valuation - Ensure precise take-offs and cost assessments
路Cost Control & Forecasting - Maintain budgets and track financial performance
路Subcontractor & Supplier Management - Oversee agreements and payments
路Contract Administration - NEC experience desirable
路Reporting & Client Liaison - Provide clear updates on costs and progress
What We're Looking For:
路Proven experience in highways, ITS (civils), or infrastructure projects
路Strong expertise in measurement & cost management
路Familiarity with NEC contracts (preferred but not essential)
路Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced contract environment
路Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
