Our client, a renowned company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) for a Water Treatment project. The role requires being on site with hybrid working from home where possible. This exciting contract role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to engage in a high-profile project outside IR35 regulations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of quantity surveying
  • Providing accurate and detailed cost management and reporting
  • Ensuring all commercial objectives are achieved across the project
  • Conducting cost value reconciliation and regular cost forecasting
  • Preparing and negotiating subcontract and supply chain management
  • Attending and contributing to project meetings, both on site and in Birmingham
  • Providing expertise in contract management and dispute resolution
  • Maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations


Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying, particularly within the water sector
  • Proficiency in cost management and reporting techniques
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial practices
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to the Birmingham as required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
