An NHS Organisation in Surrey are looking for an experienced ER Consultant to join on an initial interim basis. The purpose of this role is to be the escalation point for complex ER cases, and to oversee a team of 4. They are looking for a candidate who can start within October, so please bear this in mind if you are on a notice period of longer than 2 weeks.

Daily rate: £220 per day PAYE Location: Surrey – 3 days per week on siteDuration: 3 months initially

Your duties will include:

  • Work closely with the Head of ER to provide a specialist employee relations and resolution service to managers and staff across the Trust Provide references for workers when requested
  • Work autonomously as an expert, independent and impartial practitioner on complex and highly complex/multifaceted employee relations relevant to staff from all groups and levels within the organization
  • Quality check cases and relevant documentation for consistency in application, and compliance with process and legislation
  • Prepare for and attend employment tribunals
  • Develop and deliver training packages on ER policy and Procedures

The successful candidate MUST:

  • Have proven recent experience dealing with complex Employee Relations cases from a public sector organisation
  • Be willing to travel on site 3 days per week
