We are delighted to be working alongside a thriving secondary school based in Surrey, that is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team from January 2025. This is a long-term supply role with the exciting potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the school by:

  • Supervising classes during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a calm and focused learning environment.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a variety of subjects and year groups.
  • Managing classroom behavior effectively and ensuring that school policies are upheld.
  • Providing support to students, encouraging engagement and learning.
  • Liaising with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity of education for all students.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or similar setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
  • Confidence in managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting the development of students.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
