We are excited to work alongside a thriving secondary school located in Surrey who are seeking a dedicated and versatile English Teacher to join them, starting January 2025. This full-time position offers the opportunity to inspire students in English while also teaching Drama as a secondary subject.

This will be on a long-term contract with the potential to go permanent.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students aged 11-16 (KS3 and KS4).
  • Plan and teach engaging Drama lessons, encouraging creativity and confidence.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:
We are looking for an individual who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Is confident teaching Drama or has a keen interest in developing this skill.
  • Possesses excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Demonstrates a passion for education and a commitment to student success.
  • Must have a right to work in the UK!
