The Role
Education Boutique is seeking a specialist in-person tutor to provide up to 2 hours per week of 1:1 academic support for a student based in Little Bookham, Surrey. The role involves delivering:

GCSE Geography - 2 hours
All sessions will take place during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, and are delivered in person only. This is an ongoing role supporting a student with complex needs, They had a brain injury at a young age meaning the now struggle with; concentration, fatigue and memory/ information retention.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, in-person tutoring in GCSE Geography.

Tailor sessions to meet the needs of a learner with a complex profile

Use trauma-informed and pupil-led approaches to foster engagement and progress

Build strong, supportive relationships with the student to encourage confidence and participation

Track and report on progress, adapting plans as needed to ensure continued development
Essential Requirements

Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE PGeography

Demonstrated experience supporting learners with brain injury/ learniing support difficulties

Trauma-informed teaching approach

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

Self-employed status and right to work in the UK

Availability during weekday daytime hours
