We are looking for an SEND HLTA to join our team!

Salary: £130-175 per day

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-4pm

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)? Do you want to make a positive impact on young learners' lives? Do you have experience supporting children with different SEND needs? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic High Level Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support in Leatherhead.

The Role: As an HLTA, you will work closely with students with a variety of needs, including but not limited to autism, learning disabilities, and social-emotional challenges. Your role will involve supporting individual students or small groups, helping to implement strategies that aid their learning and development, and working alongside teachers to ensure a positive learning experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with SEND
  • Assist in the development and delivery of tailored learning plans
  • Support the emotional and social development of students
  • Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Encourage independence and self-confidence in students
