Security can be simple, make sure that the environment and the people who use it are safe and looked after.

But the industry is moving forward, no longer is it as simple as this; security has evolved to be more customer and people centric, there is (quite rightly) more of a spotlight on mental health, it is more about creating an environment that is progressive in its operational path and journey.

This organisation needs someone who can take their existing security function through a period of change. Create that customer and people centric approach, change mentalities and approaches to security, develop processes and procedures to drive the service forward, build and develop relationships.

Everything you need to get started is in place, a security team, a wonderful estate, and the support from senior leadership to achieve this. It just needs the final piece, you.

What can be achieved in 6 months? A complete change in culture and ethos? Maybe. But at the very least, putting in the practices to achieve change, be progressive in operational excellence, show what can be achieved moving forward.

You will be bringing in not only your high level security experience and customer centric approach, but also your exception team leadership and development skills - especially when it comes to inhouse teams, your communication abilities.
