Morgan McKinley is working with a great Security company based in the Hersham, Surrey are who is looking for an experienced Operations Support Manager to assist the team with everyday smooth running of the office and operations support the engineers with the ordering parts, monitoring stock, scheduling engineers and handling customer queries etc. We are looking for someone who has worked with engineers, customer focused and has ideally worked within the Security / Fire & Security sector.
Location: Office based, Hersham - Surrey
Salary: up to £50K dependent on experience
Operations Manager duties:
- Answer calls and email, handling customer queries
- Provide technical support to customers
- Monitoring stock level and ordering of stock
- Generate purchase orders and match / input against invoices
- Manage deliveries and returns
- Booking plant equipment when required
- Ongoing client liaison to book engineers and update the client on progress of works, sending email confirmations etc
- Update and record installation documentation
- Monitoring and updating guides for the engineers
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience working in a similar operations management type role, ideally within the security
- installations / fire & security industry
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills
