We are seeking a dedicated SEN / ASD Secondary Teacher to join our team. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and implement individualised educational plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of students.
  • Employ specialised teaching methods and tools to engage and educate students with SEN and ASD.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of students, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and professionals to maximise student learning and well-being.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest educational practices and standards for SEN and ASD.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an SEN / ASD teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, creativity, and dedication to student development and education.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and certification.
