At Empowering Learning we are recruiting for a several highly esteemed mainstream secondary school in Surrey looking for 6 of the highest calibre individuals to work as an SEN Teaching assistant. As an SEN Teaching assistant you will be supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Physical Disabilities etc.

What to expect as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Working on 1:1 basis with a designated child / children
  • Working alongside experienced professionals, class teachers, SLTs, educational psychologists and other experienced SEN Teaching assistants
  • Creating learning materials aligning with the teachers learning plan

What we're looking for in our ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Graduate in a related field : Psychology, social care, special education needs, etc.
  • Goals in becoming an educational psychologist or a similar role
  • Have experience working with people with special needs
  • Have a DBS check or willing to complete one
