We have a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Support Assistant to join a dedicated primary SEND school in Surrey. Responsibilities:

  • Offer tailored, one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them develop academically and personally.
  • Collaborate with teachers to follow and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet each child's needs.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports social and emotional development.
  • Actively participate in class activities, ensuring every student is engaged and supported.
  • Provide regular updates to families and carers, sharing progress and celebrating milestones.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience with SEN students is advantageous, but we value dedication, patience, and a compassionate approach above all.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning needs and employ creative support strategies.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work well with both staff and families.
  • A driver's license and access to a car are beneficial but not essential for the location in Surrey.
