We are seeking a dedicated SEN / ASD Secondary Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and autism spectrum disorders. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and be ready to make a significant impact in the lives of our students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop and implement individualised educational plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of students.
- Employ specialised teaching methods and tools to engage and educate students with SEN and ASD.
- Monitor and assess the progress of students, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and professionals to maximise student learning and well-being.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest educational practices and standards for SEN and ASD.
- Proven experience as an SEN / ASD teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs and autism spectrum disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and dedication to student development and education.
- Relevant teaching qualification and certification.
