Our state-of-the-art 48-bed Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Leatherhead offers expert care to individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries, strokes, incomplete spinal injuries and neurological illnesses. We also provide long-term, complex care for individuals living with neurological conditions, delivering personalised therapy alongside 24-hour nursing care.

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and dynamic therapy team.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Speech and Language Therapist who is eager to make a meaningful impact in neurorehabilitation. In this role, you'll help clients achieve independence and transition seamlessly to their next stage of care or home environment.

Working with a diverse client base, including those with complex neurological disabilities, you'll lead the Speech and Language Therapy team within a large multi-disciplinary environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Clinical Services, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional, patient-centred care while contributing to our senior leadership team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating Speech and Language Therapy services.
  • Managing clients through integrated care pathways and key worker programs.
  • Participating in supervision, reflective practice, and training initiatives to support your professional development.
About You

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy with current HCPC registration.
    • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Post-graduate experience in therapeutic interventions for neurorehabilitation or physical and learning disabilities.
    • Expertise in dysphagia, communication, and voice management.
    • Evidence of ongoing CPD, post-graduate courses, and a maintained professional portfolio.
