Description
- Manage procurement and supply chain activities
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Ensure procurement activities align with organisational sustainability goals
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management
Profile
A successful Procurement Specialist should have:
- A degree in business, supply chain management or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic procurement plans
- Understanding of procurement best practices and policies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of sustainability principles and their application in procurement
