About the Role
As Head of Engineering, you’ll provide strategic and technical leadership across both the development and internal IT functions of the business. Leading a team of engineers, you will have direct ownership of the SaaS platforms, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technology strategy and ensuring alignment with its long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 9+ engineers, with plans to grow further, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Take full ownership of the SaaS platforms, ensuring robust infrastructure, monitoring, and DevOps processes are in place to deliver world-class services.
- Implement a modern development methodology, such as Agile/Scrum, to improve workflows and team performance.
- Oversee quality assurance, cyber-security measures, and compliance with data protection standards for both core products and internal systems.
- Communicate technology strategies effectively to stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.
- Manage IT budgets and KPIs to assess and improve technological performance.
About You

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of SaaS technologies and development methodologies.
- Understanding in programming languages and tools such as Cockroach, KeyDB, Redis, MySQL, Python, Java, and Rust.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments, coupled with a deep understanding of budgets and business planning.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas for non-technical stakeholders.
- Energizing leadership style with a track record of motivating teams to overachieve and seamlessly integrating new talent.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical oversight with broader business objectives.
