We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Welding Lecturer to join our successful Engineering department at an FE college in East Surrey. The Role As a Welding Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching and assessment on our Engineering apprenticeship programmes (Levels 2 & 3). This is a fantastic opportunity to share your industry expertise with learners and contribute to their professional development. Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager, and Engineering team, you will: Deliver engaging and practical lessons aligned with industry standards. Assess student work and provide constructive feedback. Promote high levels of student attendance and engagement. Participate in curriculum planning, team meetings, and continuous improvement activities. Support quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in teaching and learning. About You To be successful in this role, you will need: A teaching qualification (Level 3 or above) A relevant Welding qualification (Level 3 or above) Industry experience in welding and fabrication Experience in delivering and assessing welding courses Some quality assurance experience (preferred but not essential) If you are passionate about education and enjoy working in a forward-thinking, supportive, and fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art facilities, we would love to hear from you!
