What are your key duties as a CNC Machinist?
- Setting and Operating 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines to produce fine tolerance parts
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to work from
- Inspecting all machined components and using measuring equipment to ensure all parts are produced to tolerance
- Recording all operations onto a bespoke system
- Cleaning down your workstation, working to Health and Safety standards and regulations
- Working closely with the Design and Engineering teams
- Troubleshooting any issues with your CNC Machine
What will make you the perfect CNC Machinist?
- Fundamental knowledge of Engineering Principles
- Genuine interest in the industry
- A desire to develop your engineering skillset and knowledge
- CNC Setter/Operator experience
- Great ability to work as an active member of a team
- Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship
- Excellent time management
