We are looking for a Research Analyst to work for an established business within construction.


Salary - £30,500 - £40,000 DOE
Holidays - 23 days + BH
Monday to Friday

The Research Analyst will support the acquisition strategy and provide key insights into market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities. This role will focus on researching acquisition targets, identifying new sectors for expansion, tracking competitors, and identifying potential new clients.

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify potential acquisition targets aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to provide insights on potential growth opportunities.
  • Research and report on emerging sectors and markets that align with our business objectives.
  • Identify potential competitors in new sectors and conduct SWOT analyses.
  • Research and build profiles of prospective clients, detailing key contacts, business needs, and market positioning.

The ideal candidate will have strong research and analytical skills and a keen interest in understanding market dynamics across a range of industries.

  • Ideally degree educated.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with research tools or databases is a plus.
