Trainee Wire Person

Our client are global leaders in their field! They are recruiting for a Trainee Wire Person to assist in the production of their products and electronic assemblies.

Trainee Wire Person Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly of cables, harnesses and other company products
  • Check product drawings and parts list to make sure they match
  • Keeping the workplace and floor area clean and tidy
  • Take care of all assembly parts
  • Work flexibly, supporting other team members when asked
  • Accurately record details of the assembly you are working on, on the internal database
  • Complete online safety training
  • Develop skills by completing online and classroom based training and work towards the internationally recognised certification, IPC620

The Ideal Trainee Wire Person:

  • Arrives on time ready to start your shift
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Work well within a team and as an individual
  • Ask questions when you don’t understand and speak up if there is a problem
  • Has good manual dexterity and can handle small parts with care
  • Subject to Alcohol and Drug pre-employment screening
