Warehouse Operative

£24,762 Per Annum + Benefits + Lunchtime Finish Fridays!
Our client are global leaders in their field! They are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse and stores department.
Warehouse Operative Roles and Responsibilities:
- Picking and kitting of all components from stock before moving orders to shop floor or despatch
- Receiving of internal orders into stock or for either internal or external orders (i.e. machined parts from the machine stock, finished assemblies from production)
- Maintaining correct inventory levels and updating stock changes in ERP system
- Conducting a daily stock take
- Carrying out a weekly check of shelf life items
- Assisting team members from both the warehouse and the wider production areas when needed, with a focus on customer service
- Support periodical stock disposal processes and customer stock takes if required
- Preparing goods for dispatch and delivery
- Occasional local deliveries
- Raising risks and suggestions within your area of work to your Line Manager and the Health and Safety Team, where necessary
- Recording all occurrences of defective or damaged goods or materials on the Discrepant Materials Report (DMR) and removing from stock
- Work flexibly within the Stores department or wider site as needed
Warehouse Operative Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a similar role (Ideally 2 years)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite of applications
- Clean driving licence
- Ability to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance
- Subject to Alcohol and Drug pre-employment screening

- Monday - Thursday: 07:30am - 17:00pm
- Friday: 07:30am - 11:30am
