Futures recruitment are looking to appoint an IT Technician for a growing business based on the outskirts of Beverley. The successful IT Technician will be responsible for supporting over 500 internal users with both hardware and software queries. You will have the ability to take your hand to a variety of hardware issues from phones to desktops. This will be predominantly first and second line support.
Responsibilities
• Assist in IT projects, system upgrades, and new technology deployments.
• Document solutions and maintain accurate IT support records.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Provide 2nd line support for IT incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist with user account management, access control, and security configurations.
• Support remote users and troubleshoot VPN and remote desktop issues.

The ideal Candidate
• Experience supporting remote users via remote desktop tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of IT asset management and ITIL best practices.
• Experience with software and hardware issues.
• Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Hardware troubleshooting skills for PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
