Job Title: Residential Conveyancer

TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established High Street law firm with a proud tradition of providing comprehensive legal services to their clients. As the practice continues to grow, they are seeking motivated and experienced Residential Conveyancers to join the expanding team. Our firm is known for its commitment to delivering high-quality legal services, and pride themselves on maintaining strong client relationships and fostering a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • File Management: Ensure that all files within Residential Property are managed in accordance with the firm’s established Policies, Plans, and Procedures.
  • Client Communication: Progress client work efficiently, keeping clients informed regularly on the status and costs associated with their matters.
  • Professional Conduct: Perform duties with professionalism, adhering to relevant standards set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and other regulators.
  • Client Advocacy: Act with good judgment, integrity, and honesty to always prioritise the client’s best interests.
  • Confidentiality: Safeguard the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate closely with the cashier to manage credit control on your own cases.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, support, and develop immediate support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Internal Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other personnel within the firm to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • External Relations: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external institutions and organisations.
  • Professional Development: Continuously develop and maintain the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-standard services to clients, while keeping a record of professional development.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Professional Qualification: Qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Academic Background: Strong academic credentials, including an undergraduate degree-level qualification.
  • Fee Earning: Demonstrated experience in fee-earning roles within a law firm.
  • Residential Property Experience: Proven experience working within the residential property sector.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with a meticulous approach to file management and client communication.
