AR727 - Production EngineerLocation: LedburySalary: £Competitive First Military Recruitment are currently looking for a Production Engineer on behalf of one our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating both electrical and mechanical maintenance across our production lines and site facilities. Your focus will be on ensuring safety and quality standards while optimizing efficiency, minimizing costs, and reducing losses.Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel but all applications will be considered. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and planned maintenance on production equipment.
  • Maintain and strengthen safety and quality standards across the site.
  • Work proactively to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Support electrical and mechanical maintenance across production areas.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of production equipment and PLC systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior experience in the FMCG industry is desirable but not essential.

Shift Pattern:This is a rotating shift-based role, working:

  • Monday – Friday: 06:00 – 14:30 / 14:00 – 22:30
  • Sunday – Thursday: 22:00 – 06:30
