Job Title: Skilled Production Operative
Location: Ledbury
Contract Details: Ongoing Temporary Assignment - Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
Pay Rate: Starting from £12.05 per hour, rising to £12.55 after a 12-week qualifying period (Weekly Pay)

Responsibilities:
As a Skilled Production Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up machines and performing changeovers according to production requirements.
- Following the production schedule and internal system to meet daily targets.
- Setting up product print as per manufacturing specifications.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Reporting any accidents or health & safety concerns promptly.
- Performing all production-related tasks to maintain high-quality finished goods.
- Identifying and reporting any issues that may pose a risk to food safety.
- Recommending improvements to the Shift Production Manager and implementing accepted changes.
- Maintaining accurate and timely operational documentation.
- Meeting departmental goals and quality targets.
- Providing quality products and services that meet customer requirements.
- Monitoring processes and addressing non-conformance.
- Proactively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Undertaking relevant training as required.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience working in a production environment, including setting up and operating production lines.
- Reliability, self-motivation, drive, and commitment.
- Flexibility and resilience to undertake additional tasks as directed.
- Strong communication skills.
- High personal and professional standards.
- Computer literate.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Technical certifications or relevant qualifications in production operations.
Technologies:
- Familiarity with machines and equipment used in production processes.
