Technical and Environmental Co-Ordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a role model and advocate for Food Safety.
  • Conduct Internal Audits & Hygiene Inspections.
  • Support new starter inductions.
  • Support with customer complaints responses and internal investigation.
  • Assist in Maintaining the IMS system is up to date and work in conjunction with the Technical Lead updating and reviewing procedures, work instructions and master forms.
  • Support during external third-party audits and customer visits as required.
  • Support the implementation of ISO45001 standard.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture, working in collaboration with other departments, to improve quality, controls and operating performance, reduce waste and control cost.
  • Act as a role model and advocate for environmental sustainability and continuous improvement.
  • Co-Ordinate and oversee environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals.
  • Ensure the industrial operations are following local regulations.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of environmental management systems e.g. ISO14001
  • Environmental Audits.
  • In depth understanding of Quality Control procedures and relevant legal standards.
