In this role you will be responsible for managing electrical and mechanical maintenance for production lines ensuring that all standards and regulations are complied with. You will be regularly monitoring issues within production and repairing them accordingly along with collaborating with other engineers to ensure production is effective and cost-efficient.

The Role:

  • Coordinate and manage the electrical and mechanical maintenance for production lines
  • Carrying out fault finding checks and diagnostics on the machinery
  • Understanding root cause analysis (RCA) into any equipment failure so the correct and preventative actions can be put in place
  • Improving production efficiency in a cost-effective way
  • Work with Production Teams and educate them on basic repairs where appropriate

The Person:

  • Experience in electrical & mechanical engineering
  • Trained in electrical and/or mechanical engineering (Minimum level 3 NVQ or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of working with production equipment and PLCs
