We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Core Subjects Teacher to join our specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Ledbury, Hereford. Our school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students who require tailored approaches to education, enabling them to achieve their full potential.

The Role:
  • Teach core subjects (English, Maths, Science) in a way that engages and motivates students with SEMH needs.

  • Create and adapt lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and emotional needs.

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support students' social, emotional, and academic development.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and valued.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in teaching core subjects.

  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs or a strong desire to do so.

  • The ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.

  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable teaching style.

  • Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to restorative practices.
