A leading supplier to the agricultural sector seeks a dedicated ITC Project Lead Coordinator & Sustainability Carbon Reporting Champion to join their dynamic team. This integral position offers the chance to shape the future of trade compliance, sustainability, and supply chain strategies within a forward-thinking organisation.

Based in Ledbury, as ITC Project Lead Coordinator you will be working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm although this is negotiable for the right candidate plus the opportunity to work from home after successful training period! Salary range is 32-40k per annum plus excellent benefits including 23 days annual leave rising with length of service, and after 10 years service a 1 month sabbatical is offered to all employees!!

The successful candidate will be instrumental in reviewing and translating trade compliance legislation, ensuring seamless communication across departments and spearheading the implementation of compliant trade processes. With a focus on international trade expansion, this role requires a proactive individual to stay informed on global formalities, restrictions, and advancements, promoting these within the business.

Responsibilities include leading carbon reporting and wider sustainability activities, enhancing the understanding of carbon within the supply chain, and supporting supplier strategies. Additionally, the role involves conducting new country investigations, facilitating supply chain and goods movement setups, and educating teams on customs rulings, biosecurity measures, and OPS machinery movements.

Collaboration with the Export & Logistics manager is key to enrolling new sales regions and suppliers, while working alongside the Finance team ensures the protection of the company through compliant transactions. The role demands engagement with external trade and compliance bodies, HMRC, brokers, and border control to lead investigations and support business growth.

Candidates are expected to possess at least three years of hands-on experience in international trade, including shipping, documentation, compliance, global sourcing, and supply chain management. A background in export customer service and global procurement is advantageous. A good standard of education, particularly in Literacy, Numeracy, and Geography, is essential, along with an understanding of international trade transactions and supply chain dynamics.
