Quality Control Technician

Our client is a Manufacturing business based in Ledbury looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their Quality team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the manufacturing process of packaging. This position is ideal for someone with an engineering background who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct quality control testing on production orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform quality checks and process confirmations on active production to maintain compliance with all process parameters and requirements.
  • Take responsibility for decisions related to product release to customers and guide production operators in quality-based decision-making.
  • Participate actively in the internal audit process and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Issue certificates of analysis (CoA) and communicate results with customers.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Experience in a Quality control environment
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
  • Experience conducting audits and process checks.
  • Proficient in quality investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
