We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join a reputable manufacturing business in Ledbury, ensuring the most effective and efficient use of company funds through professional purchasing methods. This role is crucial in maintaining optimum material availability and customer satisfaction.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Order all material requirements, ensuring best cost, optimum stock levels, and customer satisfaction.
  • Review material demand from the SAP/MRP process and materials pricing parameters.
  • Control stocks to ensure minimal stock levels and accurate stock records.
  • Interface with all functions to plan and prioritise supply activities.
  • Review planned orders, create requisitions for raw material, and support procurement functions.
  • Track order acknowledgements, prepare shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.
  • Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts, reporting non-conformances.
  • Assist finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies.
  • Control inventory levels in line with the budget.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Procurement experience 
  • SAP experience is advantageous, with full training provided.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Office, with essential Excel skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Numerical and analytical aptitude.
  • Problem-solving skills.
