Residential Conveyancing Assistant

Lee-on-the-Solent£25,000 upwards

My client, a busy Residential Conveyancing firm based in Lee-on-the-Solent, are recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Assistant. This role will suit a friendly person with a professional flexible positive attitude who can work as part of a team.

Duties will include:-

  • Providing Clients with estimates.
  • Preparing Client Care letters.
  • Providing updates to clients.
  • Providing updates to estate agents.
  • Opening new case files manually and on our case management system.
  • Filing
  • Preparation and issuing of draft Contract documentation for both Freehold and Leasehold Transactions.
  • Using the Land Registry Portal for the request of documentation and applications to the Land Registry.
  • Updating systems on Lender Exchange and LMS.
  • Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax forms.
  • Uploading information for Help to Buy ISA’s.
  • Dealing with post-exchange work.
  • Preparing files for completion.
  • Dealing with post exchange work.
  • Registration of purchase transaction following completion.
  • Archiving files

The role is full-time and hours of business are 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. with an hour for lunch. Salary is dependent upon experience.
