Description
- Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
- Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
- Manage month-end and year-end closing
- Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
- Organise financial data into use able information and maintain updated records
- Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
- Ensure compliance with the law
Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
- Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years UK Practice experience.
- Professional certification (ACCA, ACA)
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. SAP)
- Well-organised with ability in problem-solving and team management
