Client Details
A small independent firm base in West Yorkshire seeing organic growth within the firm.
Description
- Accounts preparation from both incomplete records and computerised records
- Company and personal tax return preparation
- Liaising with clients on all accounting matters
- VAT return / Bookkeeping assistance where required during busy periods
- Reviewing work of other employees
- New client setup
- Experience of CCH an advantage but not essential
- Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Preparation of management accounts advantageous
- Personal tax, VAT experience would be advantageous although not part of a day to day role - to assist in busy periods if needed
Profile
A successful 'Accounts Senior' should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge & proficiency of at least Sage/Xero/QuickBooks/FreeAgent desired
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and support junior members of the team
