We operate at venues of all sizes and have exclusivity at prominent sporting, entertainment, and cultural locations across the UK.    About the role We are looking for a Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts and to assist in ensuring adherence to financial controls.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce management information, including employee costings and cost of sales analysis.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with monthly management accounts preparation.
  • Develop event accounting to assess event profitability.
  • Take full responsibility for weekly forecast reporting and event flash reports.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
  • Report on discrepancies, procedural failures, or unusual activity.
  • Assist in budget and forecast preparation.
  • Complete monthly commission statements for venue clients.
  • Continually review cost analysis to maximize efficiencies.
  • Support the Year-End Audit and preparation of documentation.
  • Undertake ad hoc project work and reporting as required.
  About you
  • Minimum of 12 months finance experience.
  • Part-qualified AAT, with potential progression to ACCA or CIMA.
  • High levels of accuracy and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and reactively while managing own workload.
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of other IT systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
