This role offers a varied workload across audit and accounts for a diverse client portfolio, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and groups across multiple sectors. You’ll play a key role in leading audits from planning to completion, preparing statutory accounts, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a variety of clients
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with deadlines and compliance standards
Skills & Experience:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified (or Finalist/QBE with relevant experience)
- At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
