AUDIT SENIOR - Accountancy Practice

We are currently working with one of Yorkshires premier accountancy practices in their search for an Audit Senior to join there expanding Business services team.

The successful candidate will be a senior member of the team who will be responsible for conducting audits for limited company clients across a wide range of industries. Experience of charity / academy school audits would also be useful but not essential.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

  • Undertaking audits of financial statements
  • Training and supervision of junior team members
  • Attending meetings with clients to discuss audit matters
  • Preparation and production of accounts and tax computations from clients' records
  • Undertaking special assignments
  • Helping to develop the business of the practice

The requirements of an ideal candidate are:

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good timekeeping and an ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Minimum 5 years auditing experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Energetic and self-motivated

Qualifications required include:

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C above)
  • Basic computer skills in Word and Excel
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
