Job Purpose
  • Act as the primary project lead for a varied portfolio of clients and audits.
  • Coach and project manage the on-site team to review work, provide support and ensure quality control.
  • Work on high-risk areas of audit files.
  • Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns.
  • Preparation of reports to support Audit Managers and Senior Managers during client meetings.
  • Support junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing.
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries.
  • Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Promote services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team.
  • Be involved in strategic projects both in the office and wider firm.
  • Manage your own time effectively to ensure deadlines are always met.

The Successful Applicant
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, finalist or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years’ audit practice experience.
  • Excellent leadership skills to support junior staff.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Sound IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for progression and business development.
  • A strong work ethic, time management and project management skills.
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to conduct research autonomously.
  • Able to work confidently with senior team members.
  • Passionate about supporting a wide variety of clients.
